De Japanse ceramist, Ryota Aoki woont en werkt in Tokishi, Japan. Zijn fantastisch werk, geinspireerd door Japans traditioneel aardewerk en zijn wereldreizen, is zeer delicaat en vernieuwend. We bezochten zijn atelier in Tokishi; We werden op slag verliefd op de prachtige witte porselein cups. Als contrast, het mooie stevigere zwarte aardewerk met, als je van dichtbij kijkt, een zachte metaal glans.

Ryota Aoki is a Japanese potter, ceramicist who lives and works in the Tokishi area in Japan. His fantastic work is influenced by both traditional Japanese pottery and his world travels. We visited his atelier in Tokishi; He makes exquisite white porcelain cups where we instantly fell in love with. As a contrast, the beautifull black pottery with, when you look more closely, a soft glint of metal and an more sturdy look.
